I installed RC Ultimate working fine till yesterday. Suddenly today I got the problem as Microsoft Visual Studio has encountered a problem and needs to close. As the restart check box is checked the message is continuous and annoying. I rebooted the system, reset the settings reset user data tried different scenarios. But none of them worked. I downloaded VS2010 RC2 Ultimate edition from MSDN.It took 12 hours to download 2.25 GB whole set up pack. If you are installing in windows XP box you should have windows xp service pack3 as prerequisite.Otherwise you get the following error. Much Awaiting VS2010 RC2 ia available for download now. This is only available to MSDN subscribers and will be available to public by February 10th 2010. This RC includes go-live licence for deployment in prodcution environments. Seems that performance issues are improved as per our feedback.But we need to download ,install,check and see how fast it is. I am planning to play with it during week end if I get some time. Last week, I have attended ASIA Pacific MVP OpenDay 2010 at Microsoft IDC. It happened from 20th January to 23rd January. I have not overcome that MVP hangover yet. I couldn’t attend last year MVP Summit that happened on Nov 2008. This time I was able to make it no matter how busy am I. No doubt it’s enthralling experience to meet all techie experts, build contacts and relationships with him. Follow me on my twitter ID I would say that CTD at Hyderabad is success as we can see huge crowd more than 250 for the sessions. Though most of them are dev crowd every one stayed till the end of the event. What the passion the techies have on the technology!!
