Not sure if folks are aware, but in addition to the Silverlight Spy tool which is a great visual tool to explore your application runtime tree and detect possible perf bottlenecks, there is also a free tool called Silverlight Inspector. Silverlight Inspector is a free utility that lets you view your app visual tree and control/view assemblies within a XAP. This tool is an open source so feel free to download sources and post back your improvements. .. (more)

Quite a few folks have asked for MEF versions of the Prism templates. I’m happy to announce that the Prism Template Pack has now been updated to include MEF (as well as Unity) templates.You can download the latest version of the template pack (version 1.4) from here. This post describes a method of using attached properties to bind a ViewModel which contains multiple data series to a Visiblox chart without any code-behind. The Visiblox chart supports databinding in both WPF and Silverlight, where the X and Y values for each datapoint are bound to properties on an underlying model.
