Microsoft has recently launched Razor view engine with ASP.NET MVC RC2. It’s going to be promising one. There are lots of features bundled with this view engine. But in earlier version of ASP.NET 3 MVC. We were are not having Synatx intellisense provided for asp.net mvc views  in Visual Studio 2010. So either we have to depend third party tools like Resharper or we have to manage it without intellisesnse. But with ASP.NET MVC 3 RC2 Microsoft has moved one step forward and its providing syntax intellisens... (more)

This post is a very big help to the SharePoint 2010 developers. We need the intellisense help to write code fast in our SharePoint applications. But, in SP2010 BETA I faced so many problems to find what methods a java script object has. With all the partitioning happening in the WPF-like framework world (WPF, Silverlight, Silverlight for Windows Phone 7) there's a need for assistance from the tools in creation of code that works in all (several) of them. Here is an idea for one such feature for Visual Studio. (more)

Many of you have seen crashing issues when using a Tablet, Multi-touch, Screen Readers, etc with the RC.  This issue was a late breaking regression as we locked down RC and unfortunately was not caught until we shipped.  We've released a hotfix which resolves this issue here: http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/Downloads/DownloadDetails.aspx?DownloadID=26662 I know the work arounds have been painful for you so I hope this patch helps.  K... Everyone knows that Sql server 2008 has an excellent feature for supporting the intellisense. This will surely fasten the development. Last week, I have created 3 tables in my Sql server 2008 and when I try to write the stored procedure based on those tables, surprisingly they weren't shown in the intellisense any more. I thought initially it's a bug in Sql Server 2008. Lately after done some research and found that we need to refresh the cache for intellisense to shown up everything correct. Please find... (more)

The new feature "intellisense" added in sql server 2008 is making my life easier. And I am enjoying this feature a lot. But I noticed many times that when we make any changes to DB schema like creating / modifying database objects we don't notice the schema changes in intellisense in the same session. This made me too bad and many times I cursed Microsoft for this inclomplete feature.
