Firebug Working Group (FWG) is proud to announce the final Firebug 1.8 release! Firebug 1.8 has been also uploaded to AMO, but it can take some time to appear. Firebug 1.8 is based on Firebug 1.8b7 (12 issues fixed) that has been uploaded to AMO to update also the beta channel. We have also started Firebug 1.9a0 alpha. The most notable addition to this new Aurora are the progress element, window.matchMedia API, better APIs for binary data, Server-Sent Events as well as the return of WebSockets. Aurora 6 has been published last week and can be downloaded from firefox.com/channel. (more)

After eleven alphas and four betas Firebug Working Group (FWG) is proud to declare victory and release the final Firebug 1.7.0! Of course also Chromebug 1.7.0 is available. getfirebug.com has new Firebug 1.6.2 that fixes couple of problems (issue 3880 and issue 3933). We are being conservative and fixing only the most important & low risk problems since this release is planned to be the last one for the 1.6 branch. Firebug 1.7 is close to beta phase and we want to focus our effort on it. See, test results for Firebug 1.6.2 Firebug 1.6.2 is also uploaded on AMO, but it can yet take some time to appear. (more)

At our product we have a client Silverlight part and server-code part, which contains a lot of WCF methods. We don’t use ASP.NET Compatible mode, because we want to leave an opportunity to deploy server part to server without web-server role (without IIS). Really, I don’t know why we chose this way, because all of our installations at current moment are on IIS. But we have what we have, so we haven’t ASP.NET Compatible mode, and as an expected result we can’t get HttpContext.Current instance at server WC... (more)

i am facing a small problem, which ate my mind almost 10 hours. Introduction: I am using Updatepanel [Ajax] in my site. According to my client specification, in which panel or div cursor focus on, when he/her press enter, the corresponding panel button click event will fire and request goes to server and gives response. i am using control on my pages, because it has the property called DefaultButton.
