We live in the age of individuality, in the sense that, whether it's business, personal stuff or anything else in between, we seek and prefer systems that allow us make our own choices; we prefer those over standardized solutions. From customization to user oriented services and products, the center of gravity shifted from the general mass of people to you. We even witnessed this transition. It was a brief but fundamental turn. It's not about what everybody does anymore, it's all about what you want. W... (more)

A few times, we have been asked how to use a URL to directly navigate to a given sub-page of a SketchFlow prototype. My colleague Chuck Hays from the SketchFlow team posted an answer to this question here, on the Expression forums. Many thanks to Chuck, who kindly answers an amazing number of customer questions. The solutions is pretty simple:When your prototype starts up, you can check for the URL used to navigate to the prototype. In talking with a friend about some Windows Phone 7 and Silverlight stuff recently. He was giving me some great feedback about a few things (all of which I’ve passed along). One of the things was what I felt was a common task that might exist in the mobile space but admittedly isn’t as clear if you are just coming to WP7 development. The scenario is that of downloading media files and storing them for later playback. (more)

And Windows Phone 7 has been steadily building momentum - it's handy that the Data Visualization assembly also works on Windows Phone! So there's lots of good stuff - here are all the links (FYI: previously published links are gray): (more)

Creating a Twitter client is a really interesting exercise in application development because, amongst many reasons, it's taking input from effectively an infinite number of people and places. Writing a Twitter client is effectively writing a web browser that only browses one website. Getting a browser stable is hard. I’m going to table discussion of background in this article and focus primarily on the accent color instead. (more)
